Cancel a registered DTI business name through BNRS cancellation or DTI field offices. Sole proprietors typically submit the Other BN-Related Application Form, present a valid ID, and submit a declaration under oath that cancellation is not intended to defraud creditors and that obligations are settled or creditors notified. Representatives need an authorization letter and ID. Pay the fee prescribed in DTI schedules. BN cancellation is not by itself full multi-agency business closure.
