Land Transportation Office (LTO)
Change of Vehicle Color
To register a vehicle color change, prepare the CR or CRE, PNP-HPG clearance where required, CTPL proof, MVIR, and an original Affidavit of Change Color.
Update the LTO Certificate of Registration after a motor vehicle is repainted, so the recorded color matches the actual vehicle.

Documentary checklist and published Legal Research Fund were checked against LTO’s miscellaneous registration service for change of body, body design, engine, or color. Additional change-of-color charges are formula fees computed at the cashier, so this page does not invent a single extra amount.
